Job Summary:
The NICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care to neonates requiring intensive monitoring and treatment. The nurse ensures adherence to hospital policies, international standards, and regulatory requirements while promoting family-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill or premature newborns requiring intensive support.
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators, infusion pumps, and other NICU equipment.
Perform comprehensive assessments and document findings accurately in the medical record.
Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
Educate and support parents and families regarding infant care and condition updates.
Maintain infection control standards and ensure a safe environment for neonates.
Participate in continuous professional development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Assist in emergency situations, including neonatal resuscitation and stabilization.
Uphold the hospital's mission, vision, and values in all professional interactions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification recognized by the DHA.
Licensure:
Valid DHA Eligibility Letter or License as a Registered Nurse.
Experience:
Minimum
5 years of recent experience
in Level III NICU.
Certifications:
BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) mandatory.
Language:
Proficiency in English; Arabic knowledge an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Compassionate approach toward neonates and families.
Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
Proficiency in electronic medical records and NICU monitoring systems.
Experience working in NICU Level III is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
