Role Overview

HomiFi Smart Solutions is a Dubai-based company specializing in smart home and business network integration. We are looking for a versatile

Network Technician

who is equally comfortable with hands-on network configuration and client-facing interactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining secure, reliable networks, as well as working directly with clients to design solutions tailored to their needs, including Wi-Fi coverage planning and smart system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and maintain

routers, switches, access points, VLANs, and port forwarding

. Design and implement

Wi-Fi systems for optimal coverage

, including

site surveys, heatmaps, and floor plan mapping

. Set up and manage

guest networks, captive portals, and security controls

. Install and configure

NAS systems

(Synology, QNAP, etc.) for storage and smart integrations. Perform

diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair

of network-related issues on-site and remotely. Work

directly with clients

to understand requirements, explain solutions, and ensure user-friendly network designs. Assist with

smart device integration

(cameras, locks, intercoms, lighting, AC, curtains, etc.) into Apple Home, Alexa, or Google ecosystems. Document all configurations, network designs, and client-specific setups. Provide

basic training and handover sessions

to clients on network usage and best practices. Collaborate with the HomiFi team to continuously improve solutions and service delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or Bachelor's in

Networking, IT, or related field

(or equivalent experience). Strong experience in

network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting

. Hands-on knowledge of

TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, port forwarding, and firewalls

. Familiarity with

Wi-Fi mapping and design tools

. Practical experience with

Ubiquiti UniFi

or similar enterprise-grade networking systems (preferred). Experience with

smart home ecosystems

(Apple Home, Alexa, Google) is an advantage. Excellent

client-facing communication skills

; ability to explain technical setups in simple terms. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. Valid UAE driving license (preferred).

Pay: From AED2,000.00 per month
