Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and monitoring devices. Monitor network performance and ensure high availability across all hosting sites. Troubleshoot connectivity issues, latency problems, and routing conflicts. Assist in setting up and maintaining VPNs, VLANs, and secure communication channels between sites. Perform routine network audits, firmware updates, and configuration backups. Support 24x7 hosting operations (rotational shifts as required). Collaborate with the Cloud Operations team to ensure uptime for miners, hosting equipment, and on-site infrastructure. Maintain clear documentation for network configurations, incidents, and SOPs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Networking, or related field. 2-3 years of experience as a Network Technician or similar role. Hands-on experience with Cisco/MikroTik/UBNT devices. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VLANs, and basic firewall rules. Familiarity with network monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, PRTG, SolarWinds). Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues quickly and independently. Good communication skills and ability to work with remote support teams.

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

CCNA certification or equivalent. Experience in data centres, cloud hosting, or distributed computing environments. Basic understanding of Linux systems, server racks, and power/network planning.
