The Network Sales Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the development of business opportunities in
Global Logistics Alliance (GLA)
and
World Logistics Alliance (WLA)
networks. The role involves building strong relationships with network partners, securing freight forwarding business (Air, Sea, and Land), and maximizing the company's presence within global shipping and logistics networks.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage relationships with
GLA/WLA members
to generate inbound and outbound business.
Identify and secure new sales opportunities within partner networks.
Negotiate freight rates, service terms, and contracts in line with company policies.
Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth cargo movement and service delivery.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within shipping and logistics networks.
Represent the company in
GLA/WLA events, conferences, and virtual meetings
to enhance networking and brand visibility.
Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans.
Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, trade requirements, and company policies.
Maintain an updated database of partner contacts, opportunities, and activities in the CRM system.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in freight forwarding / shipping sales, preferably with
GLA/WLA
or similar global logistics networks.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of
Air Freight, Sea Freight, and multimodal transport solutions
.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to generate business from network partners.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for network events.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Revenue generated from network partners.
Number of new partnerships and active accounts.
Conversion rate from leads to closed deals.
Customer satisfaction and retention within network clients.
