ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join dynamic IT team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. This role is pivotal in supporting our operations and delivering high-quality IT services.
Implement, manage, and monitor network monitoring solutions and proactively address performance and availability issues.
Administer, monitor, and maintain all network hardware, software, and related components to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Maintain network security by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
Ensure adherence to CLIENT's policies, procedures, and change management processes for network design, implementation, and maintenance.
Manage network access and usage, and maintain strict control over network devices and configurations.
Identify and address potential network issues with preventive measures to ensure high service levels and uptime.
Perform routine network startup, shutdown, and maintenance procedures, and maintain accurate control logs.
Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including logical/physical designs and layout diagrams.
Design, plan, and optimize wireless networks; implement infrastructure upgrades and system enhancements for better performance.
Analyze network traffic and system logs to monitor service levels, detect bottlenecks, and troubleshoot outages.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for equipment support and issue resolution.
Manage small to medium-sized network projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
Provide technical assessments and network design input from project initiation through deployment.
Required Profile
We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in network engineering. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

CCNP
, at least 5 years, and for
CCIE
, at least 7 years of similar experience
In-depth knowledge of network protocols, configurations, and security measures.
Proficiency in using network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, VPC.
Strong expertise in network security technologies: IPS, DPI, VPNs, load balancing, and firewall policies.
Strong expertise in Azure networking (e.g., virtual networks, VPN gateways, NSGs) is
