Your Mission

As a Junior Network Engineer intern, you will support the

strategic implementation, maintenance, and support of IP-based network infrastructure

.


Your responsibilities will include:

Developing network design and engineering documentation Deploying circuits related to IP switching and routing Supporting WAN connectivity Overseeing installation and commissioning of network equipment Configuring

Cisco firewalls

and network management platforms such as

Cisco EPNM

Implementing network changes at both the individual circuit level and across larger network segments

Profile

Education

: Student from an

engineering school or university

, specializing in

Telecommunications

or

Computer Engineering

Technical Skills

: + Strong understanding of

WAN networks

+ Knowledge of

routing protocols

: TCP/IP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP
+ Familiarity with

BGP

,

Cisco Call Manager

,

VPN

, and

traffic engineering

+ Good understanding of

IP Telephony

and

VoIP

, including the impact of jitter, packet loss, and latency
+ Hands-on experience with

VoIP networks

+ Familiarity with

Cisco IOS

and

Cisco EPNM

Soft Skills
