Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT networking, with hands-on experience in installing and troubleshooting network devices, firewalls, and security systems. Install, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and routers.

Perform system and network troubleshooting to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.

Ensure network security by implementing best practices and maintaining firewall rules and policies Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for issue resolution and system upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

1. Network Setup & Maintenance

Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Ensure network connectivity across all company locations. Maintain clear and updated documentation of IT systems, configurations, and support procedures.

2. Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Monitor network performance and optimize for speed, reliability, and uptime. Diagnose and resolve network outages, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.

3. Security Management

Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other security tools. Conduct regular security audits and patch updates. Monitor and respond to network security incidents.

4. User Support

Provide technical support for connectivity and access issues. Manage user permissions and network access rights.

5. Documentation & Planning

Maintain accurate records of network configurations, IP addresses, and hardware inventory. Assist in planning network expansions and upgrades.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Network Administrator, Network Engineer, or similar role. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/Mikrotik devices (or similar). Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Configuration experience with Fortinet, SonicWall, Aruba, and Cisco switches and firewalls.

Preferred Skills

Network certifications such as

CCNA

,

CompTIA Network+

, or similar. Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, etc.). Knowledge of VoIP systems.
