Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and network systems. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices to optimize performance. Monitor network traffic and ensure security by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and other protective measures. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration of network infrastructure with other systems. Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure network stability. Maintain network documentation, including topology, configuration, and security protocols. Provide technical support and guidance to users experiencing network connectivity issues. Test and deploy new network hardware and software to improve network performance.
Job Profile
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration. Proficient with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, etc.). Hands-on experience with network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls. Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. * Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
