Job Description
Key Responsibilities & Work Tasks:
- Configure, test, and maintain LAN/WAN/Wireless LAN equipment and related services
- Design, install and configure the entire Active network, Wireless and Wired Network Infrastructure of the project.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving of structured cabling systems.
- Research Network monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting.
- Keep external and internal stakeholders updated about project deliverables.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with technical and nontechnical audiences including customers, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks.
- Required to travel from time to time
- Fluent English both verbal and written
- Fluent Arabic both verbal and written (is advantage)
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Network configuration (L2&L3 protocols) – is a must.
- Knowledge of Switching and routing fundamentals (Cisco, HP/Aruba) – is a must.
- Knowledge of Wireless LAN configuration (Cisco, Ruckus and HP/Aruba) – is a must.
- Knowledge on how to prepare passive and active Wi-Fi Heatmap – is a must.
- Knowledge of IPTV fundamentals and Multicast.
- Knowledge of Passive structured cabling systems.
- Strong inter-personal skills.
- Good Communication & Report Writing Skills.
- Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as required
- Knowledge of IT service management principles would be beneficiary.
- 2-3 years of experience in a networking position.
- MCSE, CCNA and CCNP certificates (is a must)
- Previous experience in Hospitality & Hotels industry (is a must)
