Role Summary
Looking for an L1 Network & Desktop Support Engineer to provide first-level technical support for users, troubleshoot desktop, network and hardware-related issues, and ensure smooth IT operations. The candidate should have basic networking knowledge and hands-on experience in desktop support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L1 technical support for desktops, laptops, and network-related issues
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN, printers, and peripheral devices
- Install, configure, and support Windows OS / Office 365 / Outlook
- User account management through Active Directory
- Handle ticketing system / incident logging and resolution
- Support VPN connectivity and basic network issues
- Coordinate with L2/L3 teams for unresolved issues
- Ensure IT policies & security compliance
- Provide remote and onsite user support
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Desktop / Network Support
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, O365
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Switching & Routing
- Experience with Active Directory & Ticketing Tools
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Certifications preferred: CCNA (basic), MCP, ITIL Foundation
- Ready to work in shifts / onsite support if required
Education:
- Diploma / Graduate in IT / Computer Engineering
- Relevant technical certifications preferred
