The mission of the Network Infrastructure (NI) Business Group is to be the most trusted partner for the world's most critical network infrastructure. NI will respond to the ever-increasing demand for networks with higher capacity, greater reliability, faster speeds, and lower costs. Within NI, the IP Networks Division develops, markets and supplies routing solutions to meet the demand of a fully converged networking landscape evolving towards unicast video, cloud-based services and massive traffic growth.

What you will learn and contribute to

The Automation Sales Engineer partners with the sales and pre-sales team to drive the automation solution offering for her/his assigned accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Definition of the automation strategy for the assigned accounts and communication to the various supporting teams.
  • Driving the automation offers Lifecyle:
  • Identification of customer needs and pain points
  • Promotion of Nokia Automation solutions
  • Elaborating business cases to prove the Capex and Opex benefits of the proposed solution
  • Responding with attractive proposal to customers RFx
  • Negotiating contracts from technical and commercial perspective
  • Handing over all the project information and commitment to the execution team once the project has been contracted
  • Tracking the feature requests to rPLM/PLM organization.
  • Elaborating competitive analysis.
  • Leading win/loss analysis and continually updating the Execution team and CE/CD teams on the upcoming opportunities to anticipate the need for their support.
Your skills and experience

You have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecom/Data/Computer Networking Engineering.
  • 8-10 years of experience in the telecom industry, with at least 2 years of experience in similar role.
  • Knowledgeable on Virtualization, SDN & NFV concepts and related technologies.
It would be also nice if you had:
  • Knowledgeable on scripting and programming languages and techniques as well as on Network Management Systems, networking concepts and related technologies.
  • Nokia SRA, Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE or equivalentCertification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer orientation and ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to travel overseas in short notice.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
