In this role, you will:
Operational
Directly or indirectly participate in the preparation and improvement of the IT Service Management policies, procedures and guidelines
Ensure operational documentation meets completeness and quality thresholds
Create, analyze and improve team KPIs
Report team progress and challenges to senior management
Understand and participate in all Network and Security related initiatives and projects
Strategical
Develop the team in line with current and future business requirements
Contribute to the Client Operations team strategy
Develop and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers/partners and stakeholders
Work collaboratively with other technology experts to shape the future of our services and to bring positive changes
Financial
Develop and present forecasting requirements, participate in the annual budget process, schedule expenditures for the Network and Security team, analyze variances and initiate corrective action
Assist in developing new service offerings for the Client Operations sub unit in the domains of Managed Services
Technology
Stay up to date with new and emerging technologies to support transformation and growth
Act as a technology advocate for current and future projects
People:
Responsible for managing the team including conflict management, performance appraisals and career development
Provide expert level advice, guidance and assistance to less experienced colleagues
Provide effective leadership and mentoring to other staff members
Recruiting and welding together a high performing team
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements :
Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or equivalent
7+ Yrs. of relevant experience, at least 5 Yrs. in similar role
Skills (Technical & Non-Technical) Preferred Certifications/Training:
CCNP (Data Center)
CCNP (Routing and Switching)
CCNP (Security)
Fortinet Network Security Expert (Fortinet NSE)
Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
GIAC Security Expert (GSE)
MS Azure and AWS Certification
Project Management Professional (PMP)
ITIL v3 Foundation
Background:
Progressive experience managing a high performing Network and Security team
Progressive experience in client facing operational management
Progressive experience in ITSM and ITIL
Progressive experience creating, analyzing and improving team KPIs
Progressive experience with developing and maintaining team budget
Progressive experience in building and developing teams
