• Operational

• Directly or indirectly participate in the preparation and improvement of the IT Service Management policies, procedures and guidelines
• Ensure operational documentation meets completeness and quality thresholds
• Create, analyze and improve team KPIs
• Report team progress and challenges to senior management
• Understand and participate in all Network and Security related initiatives and projects
• Strategical

• Develop the team in line with current and future business requirements
• Contribute to the Client Operations team strategy
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers/partners and stakeholders
• Work collaboratively with other technology experts to shape the future of our services and to bring positive changes
• Financial

• Develop and present forecasting requirements, participate in the annual budget process, schedule expenditures for the Network and Security team, analyze variances and initiate corrective action
• Assist in developing new service offerings for the Client Operations sub unit in the domains of Managed Services
• Technology

• Stay up to date with new and emerging technologies to support transformation and growth
• Act as a technology advocate for current and future projects
• People:

• Responsible for managing the team including conflict management, performance appraisals and career development
• Provide expert level advice, guidance and assistance to less experienced colleagues
• Provide effective leadership and mentoring to other staff members
• Recruiting and welding together a high performing team

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements :

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or equivalent
• 7+ Yrs. of relevant experience, at least 5 Yrs. in similar role

• CCNP (Data Center)
• CCNP (Routing and Switching)
• CCNP (Security)
• Fortinet Network Security Expert (Fortinet NSE)
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• GIAC Security Expert (GSE)
• MS Azure and AWS Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• ITIL v3 Foundation

Background:

• Progressive experience managing a high performing Network and Security team
• Progressive experience in client facing operational management
• Progressive experience in ITSM and ITIL
• Progressive experience creating, analyzing and improving team KPIs
• Progressive experience with developing and maintaining team budget
• Progressive experience in building and developing teams
