To ensure success, a Cyber Security Engineer must display an excellent understanding of technology infrastructures using Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, and Security Audits. Top candidates will have OT / Automation background and will be comfortable working with a variety of technologies, security problems, and troubleshooting of the network within Automation Systems.
Responsibilities:
Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the data, systems, and networks in OT / Automation Projects.
Hands-on experience in assessing, designing, and deploying network in environment including process automation, discrete controls, and automated manufacturing processes/equipment.
Experience in PLC, Networking & SCADA design programming would be added value.
Understanding of various industry standards like NIST 800-82, IEC-62443, ISA would be plus.
Strong technical skills with various ethernet protocols, including Ethernet/IP, especially around assessment, design, and implementation of complex systems
Familiarity with variety of networking and/or security concepts, practices , and procedures to include manufacturing and enterprise network convergence.
Ensuring that the data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls as required in projects.
Partake in technical design reviews, integration, testing, and documentation work.
Run vulnerability valuation and fizzing of protocols, hardware, and software if needed.
Apply system security engineering principles to deliver real OT / Automation solutions premeditated to enhance the security position.
Identify threats and develop suitable defense measures, evaluate system changes for security implications, and recommend enhancements, research, and draft cyber security white papers, and provide first-class support to the cyber security operations staff for resolving difficult cyber security issues.
Support feed with Risk Management Framework (RMF)-based policies and procedures and develop comprehensive cyber security processes.
Configure Windows and Linux host-based security as well as network and cloud-based security systems.
Support with the installation and configuration of network security architectures, including firewalls, router ACLs (Access Control Lists), web content filters and Demilitarized Zones (DMZ)
Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities.
Troubleshooting security and network problems during testing and Site commissioning.
