DESIGNATION: NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR JOB ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Define, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure uninterrupted network connectivity for all services. Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades. Monitor the network to ensure optimal performance. Create technical support documentation for systems and applications. Install and administer anti-virus console and clients. Resolve issues related to anti-virus on individual PCs. Install and implement backup systems and policies. Monitor backup success and resolve backup issues. Recover and restore user data from backups. Manage and monitor Office 365 services. Implement email and data retention policies. Handle issues elevated by the junior network administrator. Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot NEC IP telephone systems. Define network policies and procedures. QUALIFICATION: Graduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent diploma. Cisco or Microsoft certification. EXPERIENCE: 8-10 years of UAE experience managing the above.
