.NET Expertise: 10+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development, including ASP.NET, .NET Core, and C#. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles. Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus. Airline Domain Knowledge: Extensive experience working with airline systems like PSS, reservation systems, fare filing, and inventory management. Familiarity with airline-specific processes, loyalty programs, and integration with GDS systems. Cloud Technologies: Hands-on experience with Azure or other cloud platforms for deployment and monitoring of .NET applications. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to engage with business stakeholders, gather and analyze requirements, and provide tailored technical solutions. Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business units. Other Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, MongoDB). Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing frameworks.
We are seeking a Senior Technical Engineer with expertise in the airline domain and extensive experience in .NET development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and delivering enterprise-grade solutions, hands-on experience with airline-specific systems, and the ability to manage business stakeholder expectations effectively. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless collaboration between technical teams and business units to deliver innovative and robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership:

Lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of enterprise applications using the .NET framework and .NET Core.

Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

2. Domain Expertise:

Leverage expertise in the airline domain, including systems like Passenger Service Systems (PSS), reservation, ticketing, and loyalty management.

Ensure technical solutions are compliant with IATA standards and tailored to airline-specific workflows.

3. Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure alignment with business goals.

Communicate technical solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders and manage expectations around project timelines and deliverables.

4. .NET Development and Solution Design:

Design and implement scalable, high-performance applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related technologies.

Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures.

Work on application modernization and cloud migration projects (e.g., Azure, AWS).

5. Innovation and Problem-Solving:

Identify opportunities for leveraging advanced .NET features, tools, and frameworks to enhance airline systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

6. Project Management and Collaboration:

Manage technical projects, including planning, execution, and risk management, to ensure on-time delivery.

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and product management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Airline industry certifications (e.g., IATA, Amadeus, Sabre).
