* The initial responsibility of operators within the necking department is to manufacture aluminum can in accordance with GCI and customer specifications and requirements Routine in-process inspections as outlined in the control plan using calibrated instruments. Routine machine adjustments, maintenance and lubrication. Clean and organize Necking and packing area in a neat and tidy fashion. Writing shift notes/issues and needed communication in operator's shift logbooks. Prepare tooling for the next job. Remove tooling used on prior run. This tooling should be cleaned, oiled and checked for wear and defects. Put prior cleaned and inspected tooling in tooling inspection area. Start-Up and Change over duties as directed. Shift hand over report to be complete Identify equipment not preforming or reoccurring problems. Communication between shifts is essential RCA to be done on spoilage/customer complaints in conjunction with Quality Assist with training of new employees in Necking area Job Type: Full-time Ability to commute/relocate:
