NavCom Service Engineer

Dubai/ Fujairah

Salary : 3000 - 5000AED + Accommodation + transportation

We are seeking a skilled

NavCom Service Engineer

to handle installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of marine navigation and communication systems onboard vessels. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working directly on ships and a strong understanding of international maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Install, commission, and troubleshoot marine navigation and communication equipment including

Radar, ECDIS, Gyro Compass, AIS, VDR, and GMDSS

Provide onboard technical support to vessels at ports and offshore locations Conduct inspections, testing, fault diagnosis, and system calibration Ensure systems comply with

IMO, SOLAS, and flag/state regulations

Coordinate with ship crew, port authorities, and internal service teams Prepare service reports, test records, and job completion documentation Attend emergency breakdowns and provide technical support as required

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in

Marine / Electronics / Electrical Engineering

Min 4+ yrs of proven experience with marine navigation and communication systems Good knowledge of shipboard safety procedures and operations Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams and schematics Willingness to travel and work onboard vessels as per operational needs

Skills & Competencies

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to work independently and under pressure Good communication and coordination skills Familiarity with international maritime standards and regulations
