Pure Search are specialists in the Media & Entertainment Legal industry. We are instructed by a Tier 1 ranked Media & Entertainment practice who are looking to grow their Music team with a junior-mid level Associate hire.

The Firm:

We have helped our client with substantial growth across the board over the past 4-5 years. They are known as one of the stand out names in the creative industries, working with Grammy award winning musicians and producers, social media platforms, influencers and celebrities and a range of leading media brands.

This particular role will expose you to a range of US and independent music publishing companies, record labels, major recording artists and songwriters, as well as senior industry executives. It is a chance to become a leading name in the Music Law sector in the UK.

The Role:

You will advise across a range of commercial contracts matters for international artists, major songwriters and producers. This will range from image rights and sponsorship matters through to the high-profile sales of record catalogues for some of the most prominent names in the music industry today through to advising on live music events on a global scale.

About You:

You will have:

• At least 12 months post-qualification experience in a broad commercial role, with day-to-day exposure to commercial contracts;
• Ideally some element of exposure to media or publishing clients, although this is not essential;
• A continuously strong academic record including a minimum 2:1 in your undergraduate degree;
• A keen commitment to moving into the media and entertainment industry.
