Position Summary

The selected applicant will provide technical support of communications-electronics equipment, systems, subsystems, and ancillaries in fixed/mobile communications platforms for the Department of Defense (DoD), US Special Operations Forces (SOF), and other government agencies. This position requires continuous deployment (one year minimum with a 2-week midterm return to CONUS break) to locations designated as Hazardous Duty by the U.S. Department of State. The successful candidate must be willing to travel to Hazardous Duty areas and meet/maintain training and "Fit for Duty" requirements (specific health and physical requirements) as specified by the contract(s) and applicable U.S. Government directives (i.e. CENTCOM Mod 16). Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Work in remote locations with austere living conditions Tecnical support on MRAP vehicles with C4ISR systems such as: Blue Force Tracker, FBCB2, DAGR, VIC-3 Systems, DVE systems, AN/PSC-5 (SATCOM), AN/PRC-148, MA6943 VAU, AN/PRC 117G, AN/110 and Rover IV System perform: Component installation, integration, test and evaluation, troubleshooting, and repair. Cable routing and termination; including fiber optics Checkout of equipment prior to use. Troubleshooting and remedial repair of equipment after it returns to garrison. Integration for other types of Information Technology in support of local area networks and communications. Requirements

Requirements: Ability to travel to OCONUS locations Ability to meet and maintain the certifications/qualifications for deployment travel to hazardous duty locations US military Electronic Technician training/experience Communication Electronics test equipment experience Experienced Communication Electronics technician able to apply skills and technology to solve problems regarding C-E equipment and subsystems. Experience in reading schematics Radio (PRC-117, PRC-5) and mobile intercom configuration troubleshooting experience Pass medical requirements IAW CENTCOM MOD 14 The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled and able to work efficiently and effectively without the supervision or detailed technical data. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience with US Special Operations Forces Tactical or Shipboard radio (SATCOM, LOS, and HF) operations/maintenance experience COMSEC equipment operations/maintenance experience Component level repair and soldering experience (2M) Electronics Counter-Measure Systems experience Military leadership training Valid US tourist passport VOIP and IP networking experience A+ certification Military Electronics Course Instructor (NEC 9502) US Military experience to include military schools is highly desirable. Naval electronics "C" type class or equivalent.

Education: High School diploma and at least four years of related experience Other Qualifications:

Must possess an active Secret DoD clearance.
