Job Description

As a Motorcycle Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motorcycles. Your expertise and technical knowledge will be crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of motorcycles. You will work in a motorcycle dealership, repair shop, or service centre, collaborating with other technicians and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

Perform thorough inspections of motorcycles to identify any mechanical, electrical, or technical issues.

Diagnose and troubleshoot motorcycle problems using specialized diagnostic equipment and tools.

Repair and service motorcycles, including engine systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and other components.

Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations.

Disassemble and reassemble motorcycle parts and components as necessary for repairs or replacements.

Install accessories, upgrades, and aftermarket parts on motorcycles as per customer requests.

Ensure that all repairs and maintenance tasks are performed accurately and in compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

Document all work performed, including repairs, parts used, and labor hours, using computerized systems or service records.

Provide detailed explanations to customers regarding repairs, maintenance, and recommended services.

Assist in ordering and sourcing necessary parts and supplies for motorcycle repairs and maintenance.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, equipment, and service bays.

Stay updated with the latest motorcycle models, technologies, and industry advancements through training and professional development opportunities.
