This is a 12-month mandate based in Fes, Morocco.





The mandate is part of the Volunteer Cooperation Program (VCP) Equality in Action, which is being implemented in 12 countries and 3 regions over an eight-year period (2020-2028). The VCP aims to increase the involvement of local partners in the countries of intervention in inclusive, innovative, and sustainable initiatives that advance gender equality. Oxfam's role is to support these organizations, which work with the most vulnerable and marginalized populations, in claiming and exercising their rights. Oxfam places the rights of women, girls, and vulnerable and marginalized people at the heart of all its actions.





Your daily responsibilities will include:



In close collaboration with the Oxfam team in Morocco and the partner organization Alilm Nour, the advisor will be responsible for:

Actively monitor calls for projects and funding opportunities. Identify and mobilise new technical, financial or institutional partners. Support the team in drafting project proposals, including: analysing calls for projects; formulating concept notes or project sheets; and drafting documents according to donor templates. Contribute to structuring a sustainable partnership strategy for the association. Train the partner on resource mobilisation.

To be eligible for this mandate, you must:



Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada; Hold a university degree in international development, project or program management, or another relevant field; Have at least 2 years of professional experience in financial resource mobilization, partnership development, or project development. Good knowledge of the donor ecosystem (NGOs, cooperation agencies, foundations, embassies, etc.). Proficiency in strategic planning and project formulation tools (logic model, theory of change, performance measurement framework, etc.). Excellent writing skills. Sense of initiative, ability to work collaboratively with the project team and transfer skills. Oral and written communication skills. Fluency in spoken and written French. Proficiency in Office Suite, Teams and Zoom.
