Job Description

Student Health Care

Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff. Manage students with chronic illnesses (e.g., asthma, diabetes, allergies) and maintain individual health care plans. Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and authorized by parents. Monitor and record students' health concerns and maintain accurate, confidential records.

Health Screening and Immunizations

Conduct routine vision, hearing, dental, and growth screenings. Ensure up-to-date immunization records in compliance with MOH regulations. Report communicable diseases to the MOH as per guidelines.
3.

Health Education and Promotion

Provide health education sessions to students on hygiene, nutrition, safety, mental health, and physical activity. Support school health campaigns and awareness programs (e.g., vaccination drives, wellness days).

Compliance and Documentation

Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential health records. Ensure the school clinic meets MOH standards for hygiene, safety, and infection control. Submit required reports to the MOH and school administration.
5.

Emergency Preparedness

Participate in planning and executing emergency drills (fire, lockdown, medical emergencies). Maintain and update the first aid kits throughout the school. Act as a first responder in case of accidents or injuries.
6.

Coordination and Communication

Communicate with parents regarding students' health concerns or emergencies. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrative staff to support student well-being. Liaise with MOH representatives during inspections or health programs
