About the Role,

We are seeking for a passionate and driven Modern Trade Business Development Manager in UAE. You will be responsible for developing and executing modern trade business development plans in accordance with sales and business unit goals in this position. You will lead the MT sales team in meeting brand, volume, value, and margin targets across all modern trade channels by leveraging category management best practices and resources. As a lead customer management position, you will have direct accountability and complete management responsibility for negotiating at the highest level on behalf of the company with our key account customers and building strong trading relationships. This role allows the company to completely understand and translate our key customers\' needs into actionable insights, allowing us to create mutual business with our customers and communicate and implement a clear vision for category growth across the GCC.

Candidates without the following will not be considered.

A bachelor\'s degree in business administration or commerce is required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic, as well as computer literacy and excellent client relationship building abilities are required.

An experienced negotiator, expertise in joint business planning, and strategic thinking are required.

You should have at least 10 years of experience in business development, key account management, and/or trade marketing with a reputable FMCG company in the Middle East, as well as evidence of well-developed key account management skills and a proven track record of delivering results in a competitive environment.

Additionally, experience handling international key accounts and three years as a Sales Manager in an FMCG company will be highly valued.
