We are hiring a ML Team Lead for the Search & Personalization Team, who will improve the quality of our search engine, create a platform for recommending products and stores to ensure the best shopping experience for our users, and develop technologies to enhance the relevance of advertising results.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a team of data scientists and ML engineers (5+ ML Engineers);
• Developing the domains of personalization, recommendations and search within our marketplace;
• Improving financial metrics in the marketplace and advertising directions;
• Be responsible for the delivery of ML solutions into production;
• Bringing best practices of working with the data in our DWH and Features store;
• Bringing best practices of working with MLOps infrastructure.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 5+ years of experience as an ML Engineer or Data Scientist;
• 1+ years of experience in a leadership position;
• Proven record of achievements in the ML domain of e-commerce;
• Good knowledge of Python, understanding of best practices;
• Excellent knowledge of SQL, understanding of best practices;
• DS & ML stack of algorithms for customer personalization tasks (primarily RecSys & Ranking);
• Understanding of Applied Statistics and the principles of hypothesis testing;

• Model deployment experience, Airflow, Docker;
• Experience working with NoSQL / vectors databases / ANN indexes;
• Developing streaming and batch data processing pipelines;
• Experience on Google Cloud Platform.
