Join our team at Flying Elephant in Novotel & Adagio Premium Dubai Al Barsha as we seek a talented and creative Mixologist to craft exceptional cocktails and provide an unforgettable experience for our guests. As a key member of our bar team, you'll be responsible for creating innovative drinks, maintaining the highest standards of service, and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of our establishment.

Develop and prepare unique, high-quality cocktails using a variety of spirits, mixers, and fresh ingredients Create seasonal drink menus and specialty cocktails to keep our offerings fresh and exciting Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests and making personalized drink recommendations Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to create complementary food and drink pairings Train and mentor junior bar staff on mixology techniques and customer service Manage inventory, place orders, and control costs while maintaining quality Operate POS systems accurately and efficiently Stay up-to-date with current trends in the mixology industry and implement new ideas

Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a mixologist or bartender in a high-end establishment Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beer Proven ability to create unique and innovative drink recipes Strong understanding of flavor profiles and drink pairings Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in using bar equipment and POS systems High school diploma or equivalent Bartending or mixology certification preferred Food safety and hygiene certification required Familiarity with current trends in the mixology industry Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
