Job Description

As part of the role, to be responsible for creating short to medium-term mine plans, production schedules, and designs. Your main tasks will include delivering mining schedules on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, with some involvement in developing long-term plans. It will be important to communicate effectively with other departments to ensure that plans align with business targets and standards. Additionally, you will be expected to identify and support continuous improvement initiatives to promote a safe and productive workplace.

a. Ascertaining the risks associated with the mine.

b. Producing models or plans and mine planning, and scheduling (short term )

c. Ensuring that operations comply with health and safety requirements.

d. Working with other mine professionals, including geologists and construction staff,

e. Monitoring productivity and safety reports

f. Collecting and analyzing data

g. Specialized mining improvement projects and Keeping records

Requirements

BSc. in Mining

3-5 years of open pit mine production experience.

Technical Skills: - Good Knowledge and awareness of HSE.

- Advanced computer skills.

- Using Open Pit design and planning software (Deswik, Micromine, Genovia etc.)

Soft Skills: - Exceptional communication skills

- The ability to work within a team, possess a solid work ethic, and have a commitment to safety and company development
