Mining Engineer
Job Description
Job Details Company needs a Mining Engineer to join a fast growing team Experience: Should be 5-7 yrs. Should have experience in a crushing plant. Should be able to handle the plant independently. Solely responsible for the production, should meet with Govt. requirements. Duties: Develop mining plan based on geological, operating, cost information to support short and long term goals. Research, analyze and select mining site, mining methods, mining equipment, mining capital and operating costs, and manpower. Coordinate with supervisors to plan and design mine surface facilities and work schedule. Develop pit designs to minimize stripping and wastages. Plan and schedule regular mine maintenance activities. Manage waste dumps effectively. Provide recommendations and advice to achieve cost effective, high efficiency and safe mining operations. Inspect air ventilation and quality at mining areas on periodic basis. Plan and schedule mine inspections, repairs and improvements. Identify problems in mining processes and develop appropriate resolutions. Ensure that mine engineering design and mine permitting process are in compliance with state and federal law.
