Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

MIG Welder

with expertise in

structural welding

to join our fabrication and construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, welding, and repairing metal components and structures using

Metal Inert Gas (MIG)

welding techniques. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of various welding processes and materials used in structural fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

MIG welding

on structural steel, stainless steel, and other metals as per engineering drawings and project specifications. Carry out

structural welding

for beams, frames, supports, and platforms used in industrial, construction, and mechanical projects. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to determine requirements. Prepare materials and equipment for welding, including cutting, grinding, and fitting metal parts. Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Operate power tools and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently. Repair or modify existing metal structures and components when required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with company safety policies.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a

MIG Welder

(preferably with structural welding background). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols. Knowledge of other welding techniques (TIG, Arc, or Stick) is an advantage. Familiarity with fabrication tools, grinders, cutting torches, and measuring instruments. Good physical stamina and ability to work in various environments (indoor/outdoor). Certification in welding (e.g., 3G/4G/6G) is an added advantage.
