Job Description
We are working with a leading international law firm that is looking to grow its Banking & Finance department in Dubai. The firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join their team and work on complex, high-value cross-border transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a wide range of banking and finance matters, including real estate finance, leveraged finance, structured finance, and debt restructuring/insolvency.
- Draft, review, and negotiate finance documents and related agreements.
- Provide strategic legal and commercial advice to clients across various sectors.
- Manage client relationships and support senior lawyers in business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple practice areas and jurisdictions on cross-border matters.
- 2-5 years PQE within banking & finance, ideally gained at a leading international law firm.
- Admitted to practice in a common law jurisdiction (England & Wales, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, etc.).
- Strong academic background and technical legal skills.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
