Description Koch Engineered Solutions is looking for a Middle East Strategic Sourcing Leader. You will be part of the Strategic Supply Chain department; being part of the Strategic Sourcing and Commodities group. This position is part of a Global and Worldwide department for Koch Engineered Solutions where worldwide consistency is expected. As a self-contributor, you are responsible to Identifying, Qualify and Develop Strategical suppliers in the Middle East which have the capabilities and capacities to support Local and/or Global business. This position negotiates pricing agreements, works closely with Commercial, Business Development and Supply Chain to support our future sales and execution in a consistent way that is aligned to other regions of the world. Work Location can be KSA/ UAE What You Will Do In Your Role

- Capacity to define a Regional Sourcing Strategy and to deploy it locally and globally
- Demonstrated advanced negotiation knowhow both internally and externally
- Expertise on Strategic Sourcing for optimal outcome in performing function requiring analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical aptitude to understand technical products, drawings, documents, and specifications
- Thorough knowledge of standard procurement procedures and practices required
- Must possess skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a time sensitive environment to meet all required deadlines and commitments
- Technical software skills to make spend analysis, presentations and other tasks requested by the function itself
- Understand our future needs concerning Supply Chain with Commercial data and feedback
- Develop sourcing strategies by commodity for region of responsibility
- Identify new strategical suppliers according to cost opportunity and Koch risk philosophy
- Work closely with Quality Sourcing to assess and conduct qualification process in cooperation with other disciplines such as Subject Expert Matter, Logistics, Legal,-
- Support the development of a Best Cost Country Sourcing strategy to support our Worldwide companies and implement it accordingly
- Develop long term relationship and agreements with strategic suppliers ensuring a win/win scenario whilst maintaining competitive advantage for the company
- Insure and maintain competitivity of your strategical suppliers and region in comparison of the rest of the world
- Define, recommend, and implement continuous improvement where experimentation is the norm
- Demonstrated years' of experience in Supply Chain and/or experience as Regional or Global Strategic Sourcing Engineer
- Background in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field
- Knowledge of software programs, MS Office, MS Outlook
- Willing and able to travel 50% of the time
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Soft skilled aligned with the role and company values (Principle Based Management)
- Sourcing, Identification and Qualification process knowledge
- Process or Technical Product knowledge aligned to manufacture a John Zink Hamworthy Combustion, Koch-Glitsch or Koch Heat Transfer product
- Direct sourcing experience for fabrication services
- Familiarity with lean practices
- Knowledge of the region concerning Supplier Portfolio
- Capacity and Experience to work with different regions to communicate your outcomes
