Job Description
Responsible for performing high-quality welding of
metallic piping systems
in accordance with approvedWelding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
and project standards. Must be qualified in6G position (GTAW)
and experienced in weldingSuper Duplex, Duplex, and Stainless Steel
materials.Key Responsibilities:
Perform
GTAW (TIG)
welding on metallic pipes in6G position
as per approvedproject WPS
. WeldSuper Duplex, Duplex, and Stainless Steel
materials with precision and quality. Interpret and followisometric drawings
,WPS
, andpiping standards
. Prepare pipes for welding including fit-up, beveling, and alignment checks. Conduct visual self-inspections and maintain weld quality throughout production. Follow allsafety, quality, and project procedures
during fabrication and installation. Participate inqualification tests
and maintain certification as required by the project.Qualifications & Skills:
Certified Welder (6G / GTAW) -- qualification to be done as per
approved project WPS
.Experience:
Minimum5 years
in metallic pipe welding. Strong expertise inSuper Duplex, Duplex, and Stainless Steel
welding. Knowledge ofASME / AWS
standards and welding safety practices. * Ability to read and understandISO drawings
andpiping specifications
