We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Merchandising Manager to oversee the

denim and knits

-focused garment and textile product line. The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of merchandising strategies to meet customer needs, drive sales, and maximize profitability. This role requires a strong understanding of denim production, market trends, and exceptional communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end merchandising process for denim-focused collections, from concept to delivery.

Collaborate with design, production, and sales teams to ensure alignment of product offerings with market demands.

Develop and execute seasonal merchandising plans, including product selection, pricing, and positioning.

Analyze sales data and market trends to inform product decisions and identify growth opportunities.

Build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing.

Oversee sample development, fittings, and approvals to ensure product quality and fit meet brand standards.

Present collections to buyers and stakeholders, clearly communicating product vision and commercial viability.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment strategies to optimize sell-through rates.

Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in merchandising within the garment and textile industry, with a strong focus on denim.

Proven track record of successfully managing denim product lines from concept to market.

In-depth knowledge of denim fabrications, finishes, and production processes.

Excellent analytical skills to interpret sales and market data.

Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Proficient in MS Office and merchandising software.
