Position Overview:
We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Merchandiser to manage the product lifecycle from concept to consumer. The ideal candidate will be the crucial link between our manufacturing capabilities, sales teams, and market demands. You will be responsible for ensuring the right products are developed, sourced, and delivered at the right time, cost, and quantity to maximize sales and profitability across both our owned brands and private label accounts.
Key Responsibilities:

• Range Planning & Strategy: Assist in developing seasonal product ranges and merchandising strategies for various accounts, aligned with sales forecasts and market trends.
• Product Development & Sourcing: Collaborate with internal design, production, and quality control teams to develop new products. Source materials and finished goods as required, ensuring they meet brand standards and cost parameters.
• Supplier & Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new potential partners to ensure a resilient and competitive supply chain.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels across warehouses, analyze sell-through rates, and work closely with the supply chain team to optimize inventory and minimize stockouts or overstocks.
• Costing & Pricing: Prepare detailed cost sheets for products, analyze cost breakdowns, and recommend pricing strategies to achieve target margins.
• Order Management: Process orders from clients, ensuring accuracy in product specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines. Manage the order book from confirmation through to delivery.
• Market Analysis: Conduct continuous research on competitor activity, consumer preferences, and retail trends to identify new opportunities and keep our product offerings relevant and competitive.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Logistics teams to ensure a seamless flow of information and execution of plans.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Merchandiser, preferably within the FMCG, apparel, home goods, or consumer products manufacturing/distribution sector.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end merchandising process, from product development to delivery.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office (especially advanced Excel) and ERP systems.
• Outstanding negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and a keen eye for detail and quality.
• Knowledge of the Gulf market and retail landscape is a significant advantage.
