The MEP Technician will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and repairs of the building and associated equipment such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attending electrical complaints like Power, Lightings, Irrigation Pumps etc., on emergency basis.
Maintaining fire alarm systems and firefighting equipments.
Handling Fire Alarms and repairing circuits and devices.
Carry out PPM of Electrical DBs, UPS and Central Battery Systems.
Troubleshoot the problems, identify reasons, and recommend remedial action to ensure all LV systems are always in the best working condition.
Knows how to navigate CAFM / FSI System.
Maintain effective working relationships including communications with management and staff.
Ensure all works are carried in line with Company Procedures and Policies, Health and Safety, Control of Hazardous materials, in line with COSHH regulations and PPE.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Has good knowledge of electrical systems & controls, installation & maintenance, wiring diagrams, generators & transformers, switches & circuit breakers, electrical code, safety & QA.
Exceptional experience in AC/DC electrical system installation.
Outstanding knowledge of PC boards and soldering.
Strong ability to identify electrical components and wires by color.
Proficient with the direct installation of wiring at construction and other sites.
High ability to form route terminate and cut various conduits and connections.
A thorough knowledge of electrical / electronics components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purpose.
HVAC system troubleshooting and PPM.
Proficiency in using computer and MS Office package.
Good oral, written and communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate in Engineering Discipline (preferably Electrical Engineering)
Having 6+ Years of experience in facility operation & maintenance and service industry.
