JOB PURPOSE:

The MEP Technician will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and repairs of the building and associated equipment such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attending electrical complaints like Power, Lightings, Irrigation Pumps etc., on emergency basis.
• Maintaining fire alarm systems and firefighting equipments.
• Handling Fire Alarms and repairing circuits and devices.
• Carry out PPM of Electrical DBs, UPS and Central Battery Systems.
• Troubleshoot the problems, identify reasons, and recommend remedial action to ensure all LV systems are always in the best working condition.
• Knows how to navigate CAFM / FSI System.
• Maintain effective working relationships including communications with management and staff.
• Ensure all works are carried in line with Company Procedures and Policies, Health and Safety, Control of Hazardous materials, in line with COSHH regulations and PPE.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Has good knowledge of electrical systems & controls, installation & maintenance, wiring diagrams, generators & transformers, switches & circuit breakers, electrical code, safety & QA.
• Exceptional experience in AC/DC electrical system installation.
• Outstanding knowledge of PC boards and soldering.
• Strong ability to identify electrical components and wires by color.
• Proficient with the direct installation of wiring at construction and other sites.
• High ability to form route terminate and cut various conduits and connections.
• A thorough knowledge of electrical / electronics components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purpose.
• HVAC system troubleshooting and PPM.
• Proficiency in using computer and MS Office package.

• Good oral, written and communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate in Engineering Discipline (preferably Electrical Engineering)
• Having 6+ Years of experience in facility operation & maintenance and service industry.
