We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing Technician to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality plumbing services, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various related fields such as HVAC, refrigeration, and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures including pipes, fittings, and appliances. Troubleshoot plumbing issues using schematics and diagnostic tools to identify problems effectively. Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality. Collaborate with HVAC technicians to integrate plumbing with heating and cooling systems. Conduct field service visits to assess customer needs and provide solutions in a timely manner. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and equipment repair. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during service calls. Follow safety protocols while performing tasks to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a service technician or in a related field such as construction or property maintenance. Strong understanding of plumbing systems, HVAC design, refrigeration, and mechanical principles. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting. Experience with welding techniques is advantageous for certain repairs. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites. Previous experience with boiler systems is preferred but not mandatory.
