Job Description

The MEP technician- who will be skilled across several disciplines in building maintenance and /or construction to include Mechanical, electrical & plumbing experience. The MEP technician brings an exceptional knowledge base with him with regards to carrying out repairs and maintenance of equipment across the property.

JOB LOCATION - FUJAIRAH, UAE

QUALIFICATIONS:

Technical Diploma or ITI Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Technology Trade certification in any of the MEP disciplines (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) Basic Health and Safety training (e.g., OSHA, First Aid) is an advantage Valid UAE driving license is a plus

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 4-6 years of experience as an MEP Technician in a commercial, engineering, or office facility setting in the UAE. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing MEP systems. Familiarity with BMS, CMMS, and basic facility management practices is preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Technical Skills:

Good working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, DB panels, water pumps, and drainage systems

Problem Solving:

Capable of troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues across MEP systems Ability to perform repairs with minimal supervision and resolve issues efficiently

Health & Safety Awareness:

Understanding of safety procedures and proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Knowledge of UAE Civil Defense and HSE standards

Communication & Coordination:

Basic communication skills to interact with supervisors, team members, and service vendors Ability to document work completed and report issues clearly

Time Management & Reliability:

Punctual, reliable, and able to manage time efficiently Willingness to work in shifts or respond to after-hours emergencies if required Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and layout drawings Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments
