The MEP technician- who will be skilled across several disciplines in building maintenance and /or construction to include Mechanical, electrical & plumbing experience. The MEP technician brings an exceptional knowledge base with him with regards to carrying out repairs and maintenance of equipment across the property.

JOB LOCATION - FUJAIRAH, UAE (2 vacancies)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Technical Trade Test certified - Prerequisite Relevant certification & education - Advantage 5+ years' experience working with a similar background in a facility maintenance company or engineering teams of starred hotels or palaces

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.) Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.) Needs to have basic math skills and must pay attention to details to ensure finishing of works to the highest level. Erect scaffolding/ladders as needed and needs to have experience with high level access equipment. Collaborate with supervisors to complete projects. Give estimate of materials required for a job. Skilled in reading and interpreting plans or drawings. Troubleshoot and repair issues with building components and equipment Follow established regulations and advocate for safety on each worksite Able to care for the property, protecting the area around the worksite and contain the work to the designated area Exceptional teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills. Adheres to and ensures team adheres to workplace safety policies, procedures, and practices. Must be willing to step in and help in other maintenance areas where and when necessary
