The

MEP Technician

is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within assigned facilities. This role ensures smooth and safe operations across HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing networks, while maintaining compliance with UAE regulations and facility management standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Conduct regular inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment. Troubleshoot and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations. Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new MEP equipment. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, reports, and spare parts usage. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, facility policies, and industry standards. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and service requests. Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and technical staff to support continuous operations.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma / ITI / Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing (or equivalent). Minimum

3-5 years of experience

as an MEP Technician, preferably within facility management in the UAE. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, pumps, water supply, drainage, and plumbing systems. Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) is an advantage. Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals. Good communication skills in English. Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.

Working Conditions

On-site role in Abu Dhabi facilities. Requires flexibility for shift work, overtime, and emergency call-outs. * Physical ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with heavy equipment.
