Job Description
The MEP Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and installation work related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. The role ensures all MEP systems function efficiently and safely in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, electrical panels, switches, sockets, plumbing systems, and water supply lines. Troubleshoot and rectify faults in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Install and commission MEP components and equipment as per technical drawings and project requirements. Monitor and maintain building management systems (BMS) and energy-saving devices. Follow preventive maintenance schedules and record maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures. Assist in inspections, testing, and commissioning of systems during handover. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.
