Job Overview:

The MEP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing operations and maintenance within the facility. This role ensures that all systems are operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and client expectations. The MEP Supervisor will lead a team of technicians, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, and liaise with contractors and stakeholders as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations and Supervision:

Supervise day-to-day MEP operations, ensuring timely execution of scheduled maintenance. Assign tasks and monitor the performance of MEP technicians and subcontractors. Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems and ensure proper functionality.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Coordinate and perform preventive and corrective maintenance of MEP systems. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services. Conduct root cause analysis for recurring technical problems and implement corrective actions.

Technical Oversight:

Read and interpret MEP layouts, blueprints, and technical drawings. Ensure installation, operation, and maintenance activities are in accordance with industry codes and client specifications.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and internal quality standards. Enforce the use of PPE and safe work practices across all MEP-related tasks.

Team Leadership:

Train, coach, and evaluate performance of team members. Coordinate with other supervisors and facility staff to ensure operational efficiency.

Reporting:

Maintain documentation for maintenance schedules, inspections, and service reports. Report to the Facility Manager on system conditions, repairs completed, and pending issues.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in MEP maintenance, including 2+ years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire safety systems. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks. *
