Job Description

MEP Site Supervisor - Roles & Responsibilities General Responsibilities:

Supervise all MEP installation activities at the site (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing). Coordinate between MEP subcontractors and other construction teams. Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, safety standards, and local codes.
Planning & Coordination:

Review MEP drawings and identify any conflicts or coordination issues. Plan day-to-day activities and ensure proper sequencing of MEP works. Coordinate inspections and testing of MEP systems with consultants and authorities.
Execution & Quality Control:

Monitor work progress and ensure quality workmanship. Check the installation of HVAC systems, fire fighting systems, lighting, power distribution, drainage, water supply, and more. Ensure proper use of tools and materials by subcontractors.
Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain site records (work progress, inspections, daily reports). Report issues or delays to the project manager/engineer. Assist in preparing red-line drawings and as-built documentation.
Safety:

Enforce safety protocols and procedures on-site. Ensure workers use PPE and that electrical and mechanical systems are installed safely.
Technical Support:

Provide technical guidance to the workforce. Resolve on-site technical issues and coordinate with engineers if needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 3-7 years of experience in MEP supervision on construction sites. Strong knowledge of HVAC, fire safety, electrical and plumbing systems. Familiarity with AutoCAD and reading MEP drawings. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to manage teams and resolve on-site conflicts.
