Roles and Responsibilities

Technical Supervision & Inspection

Supervise and monitor all site MEP works to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and standards.

Conduct inspections for

Work Inspection Requests (WIRs)

and

Material Inspection Requests (MIRs)

submitted by the contractor.

Ensure correct installation, testing, and commissioning of all MEP systems before project handover and issue of TOC (Taking Over Certificate).

Record and verify testing parameters, commissioning results, and authority compliance documentation.

Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for technical compliance with project specifications and authority requirements.

Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other discipline engineers to resolve site-related issues.

Liaise with design teams for responses to

Information Request Forms (IRFs)

and site clarifications.

Assist the Resident Engineer in monitoring MEP site progress and reporting any deviations or delays.

Support client and authority inspections (DEWA, SEWA, DCD, DM, Trakhees, etc.) and ensure full compliance with local codes and regulations.

Quality, Safety & Documentation

Ensure adherence to safety standards, method statements, and QA/QC procedures during execution.

Verify contractor work progress and certify MEP-related portions of the interim payment bills.

Prepare and maintain detailed records of inspections, testing, and commissioning reports.

Prepare

Assist in preparing handover documentation and authority completion certificates.

Reporting & Support

Provide periodic site progress reports highlighting key issues, delays, and inspection outcomes.

Review as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and other project closeout documentation.

Provide technical advice and recommend practical solutions to resolve site execution challenges.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
