Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

MEP Quantity Surveyor

with 2-5 years of experience in the MEP contracting sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cost control, quantity take-offs, valuations, and supporting the commercial aspects of ongoing MEP projects.

Immediate joiners or candidates on Visit Visa will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

quantity take-offs

,

BOQs

, and cost estimates for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems. Assist in

tender preparation

, cost analysis, and bid submissions. Evaluate and compare

supplier and subcontractor quotations

; support in negotiations. Prepare and submit

monthly valuations

,

interim payment applications

, and

final accounts

. Monitor and update project budgets; identify and document

variations and change orders

. Coordinate closely with project and site teams to validate quantities and ensure proper documentation. Conduct

site measurements

and verification of executed works. Assist in the preparation of

claims, contractual correspondences

, and ensure compliance with contract terms. Maintain accurate and organized cost-related documentation and reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. 2-5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying within an

MEP contracting company

. Strong understanding of

MEP systems

, drawings, and specifications. Proficient in

MS Office

, AutoCAD, and Quantity Surveying software (e.g., Candy, CostX, etc.). Knowledge of contract conditions (e.g., FIDIC) and local construction practices. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

GCC projects

is an added advantage. Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus. Certifications such as

RICS, CIOB

, or relevant QS training will be considered favorably.
