Job Description

MEP QS specialized in electrical with 4+ years Dubai experience. Solid knowledge in MS. Office especially Excel and word. Administrative knowledge should be useful. Providing management for awarded projects and acting as the main point of contact representing BCD during the execution/ Fit out phase of the Project.
Overviewing the overall activities and operations of his projects.

Liaising with the client/ Client representative, and the client appointed consultant.

Preparing the mobilization plans for his projects.

Liaising with the HPC and the Document Controller to prepare, issue, submit, and regularly update the following project documents to the concerned parties:

Project procurement log- with the assistance of 'Procurement Team'.

Project Directory- with the assistance of the 'Document Controller'.

Master Program- By the 'Planner'

Mobilization plan- with the assistance of the 'Document Controller'.

Risk Register- with the assistance of the 'Planner'.

Material Submittals Log- by 'Technical Manager'.

Shop Drawings Submittal Log- by 'Technical Manager'.

Attending the weekly Project Management Meeting with the PMD and HPC at BCD to review the progress of projects.

Leading the weekly site progress meetings and preparing/issuing the Minutes of Meeting.

Preparing and issuing the weekly progress report to the client.

Preparing and keeping the daily site report.

Conducting daily visits to all sites and continuously liaising and communicating with the Project Supervisors (PS) to ensure all issues arising are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.

Continuously liaising and communicating with the sub-contractors and supplier's PM's to ensure timely delivery, and to the agreed quality standard.

Signing-off interim invoices submitted by the sub-contractors and suppliers.

Informing the procurement manager of any changes, and providing approved samples of additional materials required.

Highlight site delays to the procurement manager to allow for re-scheduling of deliveries to avoid extra storage charges.

Liaising with the HPC to provide accounts with updates on progress milestones to anticipate invoicing.

Liaising with the HPC and QS team to provide accounts with reports on variations and change orders.

Preparing and issuing the defects and completion reports to the concerned parties.

Preparing and issuing the DLP statement to the client and pursue the issue of the T.O.C. by the client/ consultant.

Issuing handover documents to Maintenance/DLP PM.

Receive the signed variation order/s from the PM, with all the necessary information

Issue, discuss, and agree timeline for the above with the Post-Contract QS.

Review the received quotations from suppliers

Review the Variation Order and ensure that all areas are covered and considered.

Issue the final Variation Order to the PM for review and comment.

Issue the final Variation Order to the Commercial Manager for review and comment.

Issue the final Variation Order to the client.

Follow up and attend negotiation meeting/s with the Client and/or internal team until obtaining client approval.

Issue the signed Variation Order, upon client approval, to the PM and Procurement Manager.

Follow safety & environmental rules, company policies & procedures in carrying out duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
