Responsibilities: - Prepare accurate cost estimates for MEP systems based on project specifications. - Assist in tender documentation preparation, including bills of quantities and contract documents. - Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations, negotiate prices, and make recommendations. - Monitor project budgets, identify cost variances, and implement corrective measures. - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify value engineering opportunities and optimize project costs. - Assess and quantify variations, modifications, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle. - Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts, highlighting key cost drivers and variances. - Evaluate and negotiate contractor claims and disputes related to MEP works. - Maintain accurate records of cost-related documentation in compliance with company policies. Qualifications: - Bachelor\'s degree in quantity surveying, MEPEngineering, or related field. - Proven experience in MEP quantity surveying within the construction industry. - Proficiency in cost estimation, quantity take-off methods, and pricing strategies. - Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Familiarity with industry software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and CostX. - Thorough knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and regulations. - Professional certification or membership with relevant bodies is desirable.
