\xc3\x98 MEP Quantity Surveyor/ Cost Control Engineer \xc3\x98 Qualification: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree / Master \xc3\x98 Experience: 5 \xe2\x80\x93 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 (MEP Projects: Hotels, Commercial and residential high-rise towers, Hospital, Shopping Mall developments) \xc3\x98 Must be available immediately \xc3\x98 Salary depending on experience and qualifications \xc3\x98 Strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills, adequate knowledge of construction, excellent negotiating skills, well-developed interpersonal skills, ability to plan, organize, and strategize, good networking abilities, detail-oriented mind, great verbal and written communication skills, and good time management skills. \xc3\x98 Software Skills: Strong Knowledge of Auto Cad, Revit MEP, Carrier Hap, McQuay Pipe Sizer & Duct Sizer, Beta, Dia Lux, Plan Swift, MATLAB, Proteus, Candy, CCS & primavera 6.0, CRM, BnCC and SAP. \xc3\x98 UAE Driving license \xc3\x98 Language: English / Arabic 1. MEP QUANTITY SURVEYOR is responsible for managing the contracts and costs of a construction project. Job description involves carrying out studies of project duration and labor costs,examining and analyzing material costs, coordinating supply deliveries, paying laborers, and giving contractors advice and suggestions on legal and contractual issues. 2. All related monetary claims, monitor, calculate, and generate accurate reports & negotiate on monetary claims such as VARIATIONS (ABORTIVE, ADDITIONAL, RE-WORKS, ETC), EXTENTION OF TIME, RETENTION MONIES. 3. Review Contract agreements to assure that the contract is in line with the company\xe2\x80\x99s business target (profits, lost, return of investment, etc). 4. Spearhead timely submission of Progress Payments, Interim Payment, Payment Certificates. 5. Utilizes its skills, creativity, and professionalism to ensure that projects remain within a given budget. 6. to oversee the progress building and MEP engineering projects by verifying and gathering and giving reports to the company on claimed executed work of subcontractors, confirming the stage of work accomplished, and checking progress payments according to the accomplished work. 7. Scrutinize maintenance and material costs,as well as contracts to ensure that expenses are minimized and best deals are achieved. 8. Liaises and works cooperatively with site managers, clients, contractors, main contractors, and other necessary stakeholders so that projects can be carried out efficiently and effectively. 9. Ensure and keeps an accurate record of project records and expenses by preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents, as well as keeping adequate and accurate track of materials and ordering more supply when required. Examining and reviewing or assessing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements Liaising and working collaboratively with site managers, clients, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders Gathering and preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other necessary and relevant documents and forwarding them to the management 13. Providing advice, recommendations, and suggestions to managers and clients on innovative improvements and new strategies 14. Documenting relevant changes in design and updating budgets when required 15. Building and maintaining healthy and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders 16. Traveling from the office to various sites when required 17. Handling the payment of workers, vendors, and subcontractors 18. Evaluate and update project cost data on budgeted amounts. Generate project cost control formats to track variance. Ensure project risks are properly controlled and issue corrective actions wherever necessary. 19. This role coordinates, directs and leads estimating efforts to ensure optimum costing and coordination of projects and programs to ensure AGIH meets customer expectations and manufacturing requirements. 20. Define the project scope, time period, phases to be estimated, communication channels, and establish any boundaries for estimates or project requirements. 21. Define Assumptions or Constraints: Identify any schedule or budget constraints, and how those will be resolved. 22. Develop Cost Element Structure: Identify everything defined in the scope to be costed. 23. Ensure that all expected costs have been properly presented to Customer for Review/Approval/Acceptance of the estimate. 24. Develop and implement requirements for cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards, 25. Provide financial reporting, trending data. Perform data analysis and development.
