Role Description



We are seeking an experienced

MEP QA/QC Inspector

to ensure that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and applicable codes and standards. The role requires close monitoring of site activities, inspections, testing, and documentation to maintain the highest quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities



Conduct routine inspections of

MEP works

, including: HVAC systems (ducting, insulation, equipment installation) Electrical works (cabling, containment, panels, earthing, lighting) Plumbing and drainage systems (water supply, drainage, testing) Fire fighting and fire alarm systems Ensure all MEP installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project quality requirements Witness and monitor MEP testing and commissioning activities such as: Pressure tests, flushing, and disinfection Insulation resistance tests Continuity and functional testing Air balancing and system performance tests Verify material approvals and ensure installation of approved materials only Assist the QA/QC Engineer in inspections, quality audits, and preparation of quality reports Raise, monitor, and close

Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and authorities to resolve quality-related issues Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with

UAE codes, standards, and local authority requirements

Arrange material and system tests and follow up on test reports Maintain proper control of QA/QC documentation, inspection records, checklists, and test results Prepare daily QA/QC reports and keep the QA/QC Engineer and QA/QC Manager informed of any quality concerns

Qualifications & Experience



Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in

Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering

Minimum

6 years of relevant experience

in MEP QA/QC inspection for building construction projects Strong understanding of MEP systems, materials, and installation practices Familiarity with

UAE standards, codes, and local authority regulations

(DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, Civil Defense, etc.) Experience with QA/QC systems, documentation, and non-conformance management Proficient in MS Office and QA/QC tools;

AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage

Good communication and coordination skills Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to quality assurance
