Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented

MEP/Utilities Inspector

to oversee installation and coordination of utility and MEP systems on internal road projects in Abu Dhabi. The candidate must have a strong inspection background and the ability to ensure compliance with relevant codes and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily site inspections of MEP and utility works including water, sewerage, street lighting, duct banks, and telecom lines. Check installation quality, ensure materials conform to specifications, and verify proper workmanship. Monitor contractors' work schedules to ensure alignment with project timelines. Review and approve inspection requests (IRs), method statements, and material submittals. Identify deviations from approved designs and recommend corrective actions. Maintain accurate and detailed inspection logs and submit daily reports to the site engineer or resident engineer. Coordinate with utility providers for service diversions, NOCs, and final approvals. Participate in testing and commissioning of MEP systems. Ensure adherence to site safety regulations and report any unsafe practices. Support handover process and final documentation reviews.

Qualifications and Skills:

Relevant educational qualifications (diploma or degree in engineering or technical discipline). Minimum of

8 years of experience

4 years

in a utilities/MEP inspection role on

internal road projects in the UAE

. Must have participated in at least

1 internal road project in Abu Dhabi

in the

last 4 years

. Familiarity with ADM/DMT inspection procedures and utility coordination processes. Proficient in English (written and verbal).
