Hateen Group of companies is a dynamic and growing MEP company seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. We are looking for a talented individual to contribute to our success.
Position Summary:
An MEP Project Manager oversees the planning, design, and execution of projects involving mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The role involves managing all aspects of MEP installations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, manage, and execute electrical works across MEP projects.
Review and interpret electrical drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
Use
AutoCAD
to review and modify electrical layouts when required.
Use
Excel
for preparing cost estimates, tracking project budgets, and managing reports.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, and contractors for smooth project execution.
Lead site teams and subcontractors to meet project goals and timelines.
Ensure compliance with electrical standards, local codes, and safety protocols.
Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports and documentation.
Monitor project schedules, procurement timelines, and installation progress.
Participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
5-7 years of experience in MEP or construction project management (Electrical focus).
Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Excel
- mandatory.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems (LV, MV, lighting, power, ELV).
Understanding of MEP coordination (HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting is a plus).
Excellent planning, problem-solving, and team management skills.
Familiarity with project tracking tools like MS Project or Primavera is a plus.
Knowledge of local authority regulations and approval processes.
Working Conditions:
The role may require travel to various project sites.
Ability to work in both office and on-site environments.
Flexibility to work extended hours to meet project deadlines.
Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Senior Project Manager or Director of Operations.
May supervise junior project managers, engineers, and administrative staff.
